The 18th Annual Auction, Dinner & Dance Gala Music of the Night was a great Success!

Held on November 5, 2011 at Granite Bay Golf Club, attendees were able to visit with friends, bid on great items, eat, drink, and dance their way through the night! (View event photos by clicking the link above).

We are pleased to announce that this year's Auction Gala and Online Auction Raised a Total of $195,754.

Entertainment - After dinner we kicked up our heels and let the music take over. The dance floor was packed and we were dancing to a fun blend of music from one of Sacramento's premier DJs - DJPartyService.

Auction Dinner & Wine Menu

Granite Bay Golf Club Executive Chef David Boswell has brought his years of culinary experience from the heart of the Napa Valley to your table. Guests enjoyed classic "Brasserie" style French cuisine with a California flair. The evening began with a unique variety of appetizers, including Fried Truffled Macaroni and Cheese, Tuna Tartare, a selection of cheeses and house-made pate, and continued into dinner with an exquisite menu. The wine generously donated by Dalla Terra brought out the flavors and complimented the food.

Wine

Dalla Terra Vineyards in Granite Bay has generously donated the exquisite wine that you will be available for your enjoyment at dinner.

Dalla Terra wines are produced from grapes grown right here in Granite Bay and exhibit wonderful character. Deep ruby in color with peppery fruit aromas, the wine has good acidity, with elegant tannins and a sophisticated finish.

Growers of high quality Syrah, Dalla Terra Estates is a family owned vineyard with a passion for growing the best grapes the area has to offer. Their wines are simple, honest and genuine and each tells a story. We hope that you enjoy what they have to say to you during the Music of the Night, 2011.

Vintner's Club

Numerous attendees raised their glass to the children of the Eureka Union School District by purchasing entrance to the Vintners' Club at this year's ESF auction. For $50, they received a keepsake glass and the opportunity to taste numerous premium wines during the silent auction portion of the event. Vintners were on hand and wines being poured were available for order with a percentage of the proceeds going back to ESF.

Silent and Live Auctions

Silent Auction: Some of this year's auction items were exclusive and only available at the ESF auction. From wine, to sports activities, to entertainment and birthday parties, attendees found items that pleased everyone in the family!

Live Auction: With a full belly and a clear mind the action heated up as the paddles were raised high and the competition began. Our live auction is always an action packed event and filled with weekend retreats, premier wines, relaxing spa days and so much more!
