2011-2012 School Grants

The Eureka Schools Foundation Board of Directors voted at the June board meeting to award $554,000 to the Eureka Union School District.

  • $500,000 will go to pay for librarians and technologists at all seven schools, as well as music, band and choir for grades 4-8, and athletics in grades 6-8.
  • $30,000 will go to Summer Institute. This money will pay for summer programs for district teachers so when they return to school in August they are even better prepared to teach your children.
  • $24,000 will go to Viva Espanol. This money will be used to subsidize the ESF Spanish language program that last year served 400 students in grades K-8!
